Mohan Singh Architect

Mohan Singh Architect is based at House No.189/3 in the Toba Baba Dhiana area. It is a very local setup, nothing fancy at all. I work from this location, handling various architectural drawings and plans for different people. Toba Baba Dhiana is the kind of place where everyone kind of knows each other, or at least they know the houses. My office is just a part of the house, which keeps things simple for me. I have my drafting tools, some old books, and a desk that has definitely seen better days over the years. It is where I spend the majority of my day, sketching out ideas or working on the technical details for my clients. People usually come by when they are thinking of building something new or maybe fixing up an old place that needs work. We sit down, maybe have some tea, and talk through what they need. It is a very direct way of working. There are not any secretaries or assistants here to answer the door. If the phone rings, I am the one picking it up. House No.189/3 is easy to spot if you are already in the neighborhood. I have lived and worked here for a long time, so the walls are covered with old projects and half-finished sketches. It is a bit messy, but that is just how the creative process goes for me. I prefer this small-scale way of doing things. It allows me to focus on the work itself.
