13 Reasons

We are over at No. 148- D in Model Town. It’s a residential area, so it feels a lot more like a home than an office building. 13 Reasons is based here. The street is lined with trees, and it’s usually quite peaceful in the mornings. Our place at No. 148- D has a small gate and a bit of a front yard. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into our workspace. It’s not like those fancy corporate offices in the city center. We have old wooden floors that creak when you walk on them. We like being in Model Town because it’s easy for us to get to and it’s not too noisy. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of us typing or talking over coffee. We don't have a big sign out front, just the house number. 13 Reasons is just the name we use for our business. We do our work at our own pace. There are books everywhere and some old chairs that are actually quite comfortable. Sometimes the mailman gets confused by the address, but we usually catch him at the gate. We don't have a receptionist. If you knock, one of us will just come to the door. It’s a very casual environment. We focus on getting our tasks done without a lot of fuss. It’s just a simple, honest way to spend the workday in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are nice, mostly quiet families, and we try to keep things low-key.
