Our little office is tucked away in Vpo-Mubarik Pur, which is part of the Dera Bassi tehsil. If you know the Mohali district, you probably know it’s a place that is always growing. We have been here for a long time, watching the roads change and new buildings go up around us. The Pin-140201 area is where we call home. It isn't like those big city offices in Chandigarh; it's more quiet and local. Kalsi Brothers Builders & Developers is really just a group of us who know the land around here pretty well. We spend a lot of our time out on sites or sitting at the main table talking through plans. The office gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up across the fields, but that’s just how it is in this part of Punjab. We don't have a big reception desk or people in suits walking around. Most days, it’s just us with some blueprints and a lot of tea. We know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. People from the village often drop by just to say hello or ask about what’s being built down the road. It feels good to be part of the community in Mubarik Pur. We keep our paperwork in order and try to stay busy with the projects we have going on. It’s a simple way of working, but it suits us just fine.
