You can find us at House No.1 in Shantikunaj, which is in Preet Vihar, Nabha. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly peaceful throughout the day. We decided to set up our work here because it’s close to home and it feels more personal than being in a big commercial building. The office is basically a converted room at the front of the house. It’s got big windows that look out onto the street, so we can see who’s coming and going. Neha handles the main design work while I look after the day-to-day stuff and the paperwork. We don't have a fleet of cars or a big branding budget. Our work comes from people in Nabha who have heard about us from their friends or family. We sit down at the dining table sometimes to discuss projects over tea and biscuits. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but people seem to appreciate that. We don't have a polished corporate image. Some days the dog is running around the office, and other days it’s just us and the computer screens. We take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. It’s just about getting the drawings done and making sure the buildings are solid. We like the quiet life here in Preet Vihar and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. It’s our home and our workplace.
