About Jaswal Kshitiz Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Patiala
I’m set up over at 13-A in the Budha Dal Market. It’s a lively place to be, that’s for sure. My name is Jaswal, and this is where I spend most of my waking hours. The market is always full of people buying groceries or stopping for snacks, so there is a constant hum of conversation and car horns outside. My office is tucked between a small clothing shop and a grocery store. It’s a bit small, and I’ve got rolls of blueprints leaning against almost every wall. I don’t have a big reception desk or a fancy waiting room. Usually, if someone comes to see me, they just pull up a chair next to my desk. We might have to move some papers or a laptop out of the way first. I handle the drawings and the site visits myself. It’s a one-man show for the most part, though I have a young guy who helps with the errands and the cleaning. I like being in the market because I can get everything I need just by walking a few steps. The tea here is excellent, and I probably drink too much of it during the day. I don’t use any complicated jargon when I talk to people about their homes. I just explain things simply so everyone is on the same page. It’s a busy little corner of the world, and it keeps me very busy.
