Hotel Marc Royale

We sit right on the outskirts, on the highway that connects Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Zirakpur. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of trucks and cars passing through at all hours. Hotel Marc Royale was built for people who are on their way somewhere else. It’s a convenient spot to pull over when you’re tired of driving. The building is easy to spot from the road, which is good because the traffic moves fast around here. We have a decent amount of parking space, which is what most of our guests are looking for. Inside, it’s pretty standard. We have rooms with basic furniture and televisions that work most of the time. It can be a bit loud because of the highway noise, but we’ve put in some heavier curtains to help with that. The staff are mostly local guys who know the highway routes well. We don’t have a fancy spa or anything like that. People come here to sleep, eat a quick breakfast, and get back on the road. The kitchen does simple meals like dal and rotis. We don't try to be something we aren't. We know we are a highway hotel, and we just try to keep things running smoothly for the travelers. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the constant flow of people coming and going.
