The office for Harry Sachin Herbert Architect is at House No.44, on the first floor in Sarv Mangal Society Phase-2. This is in Village Lohgarh, near Zirakpur and Sas Nagar. It is a bit of a walk if you are coming from the main road, but it is a quiet place to work. The office is in a residential building, so it feels very casual. We don't have a formal reception or a big staff. It is usually just us on the first floor, surrounded by drawings and computers. Because we are in Sarv Mangal Society, it feels like we are part of a neighborhood. We spend a lot of time looking over plans and making sure the details are right. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment. We take our time and work through things steadily. Sometimes we hear the sounds of the village or the neighbors, but that is just how it is here. House No.44 is easy to find once you are in Phase-2. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. We just do our architectural work from this simple room. It is a practical, down-to-earth way of doing things. The desks are a bit old and we could probably use more shelf space, but we manage just fine. We have been in this spot for a while now and it works for us.
