Hardeep Singh Mann

Down on Rajbaha Road in Patiala, life moves at its own pace. My place is at number 3, and it’s a spot that most locals can find without too much trouble. Patiala has a certain feel to it, and Rajbaha Road is a big part of that for me. I’m Hardeep Singh Mann, and this is where I spend most of my daylight hours. The building is solid and has been there for years. I don’t really go in for those modern decorations or fancy signs. It’s just a place to sit down and handle business. You might hear the traffic outside or someone calling out on the street, but inside it’s mostly just focused work. Some days are busier than others, with people coming in to ask questions or sort out their needs. I like the fact that it’s not some sterile, cold environment. There’s a bit of dust on the shelves sometimes, and the chairs are broken in. It feels like a place where actual things happen. Being in Patiala, you get to know a lot of people by their first names. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough to see the area change, but my little corner stays pretty much the same. It’s practical and honest, which is how I like to keep things. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a man and his work on a well-known road in the city.
