The market is usually humming with activity from early morning. Our clinic is a small, dedicated space for homeopathy. It’s tucked into the market rows, and sometimes people have to look twice to spot the door. Once you’re inside, the noise from the market fades out a bit. I’ve got my rows of small bottles and jars all lined up on the shelves. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it’s what we know. We don't have any fancy computer systems for checking people in; it’s all done by hand in big ledgers. The chairs for waiting are just basic plastic ones, but they do the job. Many of our visitors are people who have been coming here for years, often bringing their kids or even grandkids. It feels like a small community inside this market block. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the back-up lights, but we keep going. It’s a practical clinic where we focus on the remedies. There’s usually a bit of a wait on market days because things get so busy outside. We just take it one person at a time and try to help folks with their health problems using what we have here. It’s a busy but quiet life we have here.
