It’s a bit of a concrete maze out here. Our plot is one of many, and it looks a lot like the others on the street. We do web work, which means our day is mostly spent writing code and fixing bugs. The industrial area can be a bit dusty, and there’s always the sound of construction or trucks somewhere nearby. We have a simple floor plan with rows of computers and a small corner for taking breaks. It’s not the kind of place with a ping-pong table or free snacks like those big firms in the movies. We just have our work and a coffee machine that works most of the time. The commute can be a pain during rush hour when everyone is trying to leave Phase 8 B at the same time. We usually stay a bit later to avoid the worst of it. It’s an honest living, and we enjoy the technical challenges that come up. We don't really do much advertising; we just stay at our desks in Plot 341 and keep at it. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so the AC is our best friend during those months.
