Over at 2556/4, Bagichi Het Ram, things are usually moving pretty fast. This is where Blueways Impex & Trading Corporation handles its daily business. It’s not the easiest address to find if you aren't from around here, but once you know where Bagichi Het Ram is, you can’t miss us. We have boxes stacked up in the corners and lists taped to the walls to remind us what needs to be shipped out next. Trading is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing, and that’s exactly how our days go. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to figure out where a specific shipment has gone. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. The office is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and we often see the same people walking by every morning. We’ve grown to know the neighborhood well over the years. We don't use any fancy software or big corporate systems; we mostly stick to what has worked for us since we opened up. A few ledgers, some basic computers, and a lot of patience. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on every single thing that comes through our door. No one wears a suit here, we just wear what is comfortable.
