Bhola Karyana Store

Bhola Karyana Store is our little shop over on Chhanna Road. We are located in the area of Post Office Khudi Kalan, which is inside Tehsil Handaya. It is a pretty quiet spot for the most part of the week. We sell the usual things you would expect to find in a karyana store. Flour, sugar, some spices, and other bits and pieces for the household. We have lived here in Khudi Kalan for a very long time. The shop is basically a part of our home. We open the doors every morning and see who comes by to visit. A lot of our customers are neighbors we have known for many years. It is not like those big modern supermarkets you see in the city. We don't have barcodes or any fancy electronic scanners. We just use a simple paper ledger and a small calculator to figure things out. Chhanna Road doesn't get a whole lot of traffic, mostly just local folks on their bicycles or walking by. We like it that way. If the weather is nice, we might sit on a small bench outside the front door for a bit. We keep an eye on the post office across the way to see who is coming and going. Sometimes things get a bit slow, but there is always something to clean. We don't have a big sign, just our name Bhola Karyana Store.
