We’ve been here in Lalru for a good while now, right on the Chandigarh Ambala Highway. If you’ve ever driven past the villages of Kolimajra and Samalheri, you’ve probably noticed our spot. It’s a busy stretch of road, lots of trucks and cars always zooming by, but inside our gates at Alpha Drug India Ltd, things stay pretty focused on the daily grind. Most of the folks working here come from the nearby villages, so it feels like a small community rather than a big corporation. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high and the highway noise gets really loud. People know us around here because we’ve been part of the landscape for years. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it's just a functional place where we get the job done. We have a routine that works for us, even if it's not fancy. Sometimes the power goes out or the dust from the road gets everywhere on the windows, but we just keep going. It’s a job, you know? We handle the drugs and the chemical processes carefully because that’s what we’re supposed to do. You won't find any flashy signs or anything like that. Just a gate and a bunch of people who know their way around a lab and a warehouse. It’s quiet in the back where the fields start, which is a nice change from the front of the property. We just do our work and go home.
