I work out of my place at H.No.D-41 in Midel Town. It’s a familiar area for me, and having the office right here makes things a lot simpler. If you come looking for Akshay Garg Architect, you’re basically coming to a house in a regular residential street. I’ve set up a dedicated space for all the drawing boards and the computer. It’s not a big team, just a small setup where I can focus on the work. Midel Town is usually pretty calm, which helps when you’re trying to concentrate on a complicated floor plan. There’s always a stack of blueprints shoved into a corner somewhere and pens rolling around the desk. I don’t go for the whole corporate look. The walls are mostly covered with sketches and notes. I spend a lot of my time traveling to different sites and then coming back here to put it all down on paper. It’s a practical way of working. My neighbors know what I do, and sometimes they even drop by for a chat. The office feels like a part of the home, which I think makes the whole process feel more personal. It’s just me doing what I know how to do, right from this spot in Midel Town. No fancy slogans or big promises, just a desk, a lamp, and a lot of drafting paper. That’s pretty much how things go every day around here, staying busy with the next drawing or meeting.
