Our place is located at C-66 in the Focal Point area of Patiala. It is right near Balaji Marble, so if you find that, you’ve basically found us. Focal Point is an industrial kind of place, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machinery in the distance. We do marketing work, which in this context means a lot of phone calls, keeping track of shipments, and managing local distribution. The office is just a room with some metal desks and old filing cabinets. It gets pretty cold here in the winter, so we usually have a small heater tucked under the table. In the summer, it’s the opposite and we just open the doors to let whatever breeze there is come through. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we just buy and sell and make sure the goods get to where they are supposed to go. There is always a layer of dust from the industrial area, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. Patiala is a good town for this kind of work because everyone knows everyone else in the trade. We have been at this spot for some time now. You won't find any shiny brochures or corporate slogans here. It’s just us, some ledgers, and a lot of daily hustle to keep the orders moving through the Focal Point gates.
