You can find us out in Village Raowali, right along the Pathankot Road. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, but the factory itself makes its own kind of noise. Forging is heavy work. There are big hammers and furnaces that stay hot all day long. The air usually smells like hot metal and oil. We started Super Tech Forgings (India) Pvt. Ltd. to do this specific kind of work, and we’ve been at this location for years. The guys who work here mostly live nearby in the village or come down the road from the next town. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. If you come to visit, you’ll likely see trucks loading up crates to head out toward the highway. The Pathankot Road is always busy with long-distance drivers, so we see a lot of movement. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we have to wait a bit, but that’s part of being out here. We keep our tools ready and the floor as clean as a forging shop can be, which isn't very clean at all. It’s a tough environment but we’re used to the heat and the hard work. We just focus on getting the pieces shaped right and sent out on time. There is a small office near the front gate where we handle the paperwork, but the real action is in the back where the fire is. We just keep our heads down and get the production done.
