Namiex Chemicals is located over at Dhangu Road, and our mailing address is Po Box No 4. We’ve been operating out of this area for a while now. It’s a bit of an industrial setting, so you see a lot of trucks and workers around all day long. The facility we have isn't very modern, but it gets the job done for mixing and storing what we handle. We have a lot of blue drums stacked up in the yard, and the smell of chemicals is just part of the air here. It’s a quiet enough place once you get inside the gates, though the phones never seem to stop ringing. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so they walk or cycle to work every morning. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; if you come to the door, you usually just talk to whoever is closest to the desk. We spend a lot of time on safety checks and making sure the labels are on straight, which is more important than how the office looks. The heat in the warehouse can get pretty intense during the summer months, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s just a regular business doing its thing on Dhangu Road, without any of the big corporate talk you hear from the city companies. We just keep our heads down and work.
