Mittal Alloys

Mittal Alloys is located right off Pathankot Road, in Village Kanpur. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise from machines and trucks passing by. We work with different kinds of alloys here. It gets pretty hot in the shed, especially during the summer months. We started out with just a small furnace and a couple of helpers. Now, we have more equipment, but the work is still basically the same. We take the raw materials and process them. It’s dirty work, your hands are always greasy or dusty by the end of the shift. We mostly supply to local workshops and some bigger factories further down the road. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait around, which is frustrating when we have a big pile of work. My dad used to run a similar place, so I grew up around the smell of hot metal. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone hears about us from another guy in the trade. We just try to get the orders done right. The office is just a small room at the front with a desk covered in papers. If you're coming from the main road, look for the sign near the gate. We’re usually there from early morning until late evening. It's not much to look at, but we get the job done.
