If you’re traveling on the Pathankot Jalandhar By Pass Road near Methal, you’ll see our hospital. It sits right there by the road, which makes it easy for travelers and locals to find us. It’s a plain building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a typical hospital environment with white walls and the sound of trolleys moving around. We have several wards and a few private rooms for those who need to stay over. The staff works in shifts, so there is always someone walking the halls. We get a lot of traffic accidents because of the bypass road, which keeps us on our toes. Other days are slower, with people coming in for regular check-ups or fevers. We have a small cafeteria, but the food is just basic stuff like tea and biscuits. The nurses are busy most of the time, checking vitals and handing out medicine. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the patients who are in the beds. The equipment is standard, and we do our best to keep everything in working order. It can get a bit chilly at night, so we make sure there are enough blankets. It’s a big responsibility running a place like this on such a busy road, but we just take it day by day.
