Government Hospital

Out here in Bilawal, things move a bit slower than in the big cities of Haryana, but the hospital is always a hive of activity. We’re located in Vto Bilawal, and everyone in the village knows where we are. It’s a plain building, nothing that would catch your eye from the road, but it’s important for the people living around Bhiwani. During the harvest season, we get a lot of farmers coming in with various aches or injuries. The dust from the fields often finds its way inside, so we’re always sweeping the floors. The doctors here are used to the local pace. We don’t have high-tech machines in every room, so we rely a lot on what we know and the basic tools we have. The waiting area is usually full of people chatting; it’s almost like a meeting spot for the elders sometimes. We try to manage the flow, but when a lot of people show up at once, it gets a bit overwhelming. The electricity goes out once in a while, and we just have to wait it out or use the backup if it's working. It’s a practical place for practical needs. We’ve all grown up around here or moved here years ago, so we treat everyone like neighbors because they usually are. It’s just a regular village hospital trying to keep everyone on their feet and back to their work. We just do our best.
