Golden Kinder Garten

You can find Golden Kinder Garten right near Gurudwara Damdama Sahib in the Mir Pur Colony. It’s a nice part of Pathankot, fairly quiet most of the time. Our school is specifically for the younger children who are just getting used to being away from home. We have a few rooms decorated with bright paper and student artwork. It is not a very large facility, but for a kindergarten, it works out well. We have a small play area outside with some swings that have been there for years. The teachers here are very patient, which you have to be when you are dealing with toddlers all day. We spend a lot of time on basic stuff, like learning how to hold a pencil or sitting still during a story. Sometimes the kids get restless, so we let them run around for a bit. We don't follow any fancy international curriculum or anything like that. We just teach them what they need to know before they go off to the bigger schools. The parents in Mamoon are mostly working people, so they appreciate having a place like this close by. It’s a simple, honest school. We don't have a big office or a secretary. Usually, if you need something, you just come in and talk to whoever is in the hallway. We try to make it feel like a second home for the little ones while they are here. It's just a normal, everyday school for the community.
