Thengumpally Kunnel Marbles And Granites

Our shop is located right at Maraman Junction in Vadasserikkara. It’s a spot that most people in the area pass through at some point. We’ve been here for years, dealing in marbles and granites. The name is a bit of a mouthful, but locals just know us as the stone yard at the junction. We keep a variety of slabs leaned up against the walls and on racks. It’s a lot of manual work, moving these heavy pieces around so customers can see the different grains and colors. Vadasserikkara is a nice place to work, though it can get pretty humid. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are right and the stone is cut the way it needs to be. When people come in, we usually just let them wander around the slabs. We aren't the type to follow you around and try to sell you the most expensive thing. We just answer questions when they come up. Sometimes we have to wait for new stock to arrive from the quarries, so the yard might look a bit different from week to week. We take pride in just being a regular part of the Maraman Junction community. It’s a steady business, and we’ve seen many local houses finished with the stone that came through our gates over the years. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything.
