Spice Roots Farm Care Private Limited

Our place is the Kolanjikombil House in Kolabhagom. It’s in Thadiyoor, which is in Pathanamthitta. Spice Roots Farm Care Private Limited is basically just us working from home and the fields nearby. Pathanamthitta is a quiet district and we like it that way. We focus a lot on farm care, which means we spend a lot of time helping people with their crops. It isn't a glamorous job. You get your shoes dirty every single day. We don’t have a big staff. It is just a few of us who know about plants. People come by the house to talk about their trees or their soil. We sit on the porch and have tea and figure things out. It’s the way things have been done here for a long time. We decided to make it an official company a while back but not much changed in how we actually work. We still wake up early and go out to see what needs doing. The weather in Kerala is always a factor. Too much rain or not enough, we have to adjust. We don’t have any mission statements or big goals written on the wall. We just want to make sure the roots of the plants are healthy. If the roots are good, the rest follows. That’s about all there is to it for us.
