Smart Sign

We set up Smart Sign over in Kulanada Village, specifically in the Manthuka Po area. It’s a quiet enough place to get work done, though it can get a bit lively when we have a big project going on. We work out of No-1, which is a spot we’ve called home for quite a while now. We make signs, which sounds simple enough, but there’s always more to it than you’d think. We have to deal with materials, weather, and making sure everything looks straight. We aren't some giant factory with robots. It’s just a few of us using our hands and some tools. Sometimes the paint takes longer to dry than we expected, or a delivery gets delayed because of the roads, but that’s just life in the village. We know most of our customers by their first names because they’re our neighbors or people from the next town over. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the time, we’re out in the shop or on a ladder somewhere. It’s good work that keeps us on our toes. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make decent signs that last for a while. That's pretty much all there is to it at our shop in Kulanada. We hope folks like what we do, and we just keep plugging away at it every day. It feels good to see our signs around the village.
