Our head office is in the Mallappally Complex on AC Road. It’s a busy building and we have our space there for Sigma Spices Indurstry Pvt Ltd. Even though we have "Pvt Ltd" in the name, we are just normal people working with spices every day. The office isn't very big but it’s where we handle all the paperwork and talk to the suppliers. Most of the action happens with the spice batches coming in and out. AC Road is always full of traffic, so getting things delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have a team of people in suits. We wear regular clothes and spend our time checking on the spice batches and making sure the numbers add up. It is a lot of phone calls and checking ledgers. We’ve been in Mallappally for a while now and we know the other business owners in the complex. Sometimes we share a tea and talk about the current prices. It’s a steady business but it requires a lot of attention to detail. We don't go for fancy words or big promises. We just manage the operations from this office and make sure the spices get to where they need to go. It’s a practical way to run things and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday without much fuss. We just keep doing what we know best.
