Rhythm School Of Music

We've been running Rhythm School Of Music for a while now here in the Edanattu Peedikayil Building. If you know the Puthencavu area in Chengannur, you’ve probably passed by us. It's a busy spot in Alappuzha. We started this place because people kept asking where to learn instruments nearby without having to travel too far. It’s mostly just us and the students coming in and out every day. The rooms aren't fancy but they work for practicing. We have kids coming in after school and some older folks too who just want to pick up a hobby. Sometimes it gets pretty loud when everyone is playing at once, but that is just how a music school goes. We keep the instruments tuned and try to make sure everyone gets their time. It's not a big corporate operation or anything. Just a local place for music. People around here know us as the spot in Puthencavu where you can hear drums or a guitar if you walk by at the right time. We are right there in the building, easy to find if you are looking for it. The stairs can be a bit steep but once you're inside, it’s fine. We handle the scheduling ourselves so it’s a bit informal. We just wanted a space where people in this part of Alappuzha could come and learn something new. It’s been a good journey so far and we plan to stay here.
