You can find us at Sreenarayana Vilas in Aruvappulam. Konni is a quiet part of Pathanamthitta, which is exactly how we like it. Melea Cafesalads is our little project. We deal with salads and cafe-style food, but mostly it’s about the preparation and getting the ingredients sorted. Our workspace isn't some high-tech kitchen you see on TV. It’s a practical space where we chop, mix, and pack things. There are days when we’re running behind and the kitchen feels like a whirlwind. We don’t have a fancy storefront with neon signs. It’s just us working out of this address, trying to make things that people actually want to eat. The humidity here in Kerala can be tough on the fresh stuff, so we’re always checking the fridge and the stock. We don’t have a big corporate team making decisions. It’s usually just a couple of us deciding what needs to be done for the next day. We’ve had our share of mistakes, like ordering too much of one thing or forgetting a delivery, but we learn as we go. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the farmers around here and where the good stuff comes from. It's not about being perfect; it's about being consistent and showing up every morning to get the work finished before the sun goes down. Most days we finish late, but that is just how it is.
