Meera Traders

Meera Traders has been sitting at Mm Junction in Pandalam for a good while now. It is a busy spot where all the local traffic meets up. You can usually hear the buses honking outside all day long while we are moving bags and boxes around inside. We handle a bit of everything that people in this part of Pandalam might need for their houses or small farms. It’s not the biggest place but we use every inch of the floor space we have. The morning starts early here with unloading trucks and checking what came in. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when three deliveries arrive at the same time, but we sort it out eventually. We aren't trying to be some big fancy supermarket. We are just a local trading spot where you can walk in and get what you need without much fuss. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy to get around to that right now. Most of our day is spent chatting with people who have been coming here for years. We know who wants what before they even say it. It’s a lot of work and the heat in the afternoons can be tough, but we like being right here at the junction. It feels like we are in the middle of everything happening in town. It is a simple life but it keeps us going.
