Mars Engineers

Our place is right opposite the Marthoma Church in Mudiyoorkonam. Pandalam is a nice town to be in, and this particular spot is quite easy for people to locate. We are engineers, but we don't work in a big glass building. It’s a simple setup where we handle various technical tasks. Most days, you’ll find us surrounded by drawings or bits of machinery. The church across the street is a good landmark. On Sundays, it gets very busy around here, but during the week, it’s mostly just us and the local shops. We have been in Mudiyoorkonam for several years. The building is a bit old, and the front door squeaks every time someone walks in. We keep saying we will fix it, but we always get busy with something else. It’s just a few of us working here. We know most of the people who walk past every day. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People just know us as the engineers across from the church. We take on whatever work comes our way, from small repairs to bigger planning jobs. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes we have tea on the porch when the weather is nice. Pandalam is a good place for a business like ours because everyone knows everyone. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
