People walk in from the main road to talk about their savings. We have a few desks and some cupboards full of registers. It’s a quiet part of town usually. Pullad is a nice place to work because you get to see everyone. We spend a lot of our time checking numbers and making sure the deposits are recorded correctly. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that have been there for years. They make a little clicking sound as they spin. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the accounts. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello even if they don't have business to do that day. We keep the paperwork organized, but it’s a manual process for the most part. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn’t stop the work from getting done. We are here from morning until the evening. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow. Pathanamthitta has its own pace, and we fit right into it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the desks, making sure the local money stays safe and helps the people who live nearby. It works for us.
