Karunya Clinic

Down here in Kaipattoor, things move a bit slower, and that’s how we like it at Karunya Clinic. We are right in the heart of Kaipattoor, so you can’t really miss us if you’re passing through. It’s a simple clinic. We have a front desk where you sign in and a couple of rooms for consultations. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so I see a lot of familiar faces coming in. It’s not like those big city hospitals where nobody knows your name. Here, we know who’s who. We handle the usual stuff—colds, minor injuries, and regular health checks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we have a backup to keep the lights on. It gets a bit dusty being near the road, so there's always a bit of cleaning to do. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just walk in or call the landline. The benches in the waiting area have been there for years and they’re still holding up okay. It’s just a plain, honest place to get some help when you aren’t feeling right. We open early in the morning because a lot of people want to get seen before they head to work. By the time evening rolls around, it’s mostly just finishing up the files. It’s a steady life here in Kaipattoor and we just take it one patient at a time.
