Ganga Store

Ganga Store is over in the Aden Building in Kumbazha. The road doesn't really have a name, but if you are in the Thazhevettipram area, you can find us at number 13/453-1. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main towns. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The shop sells everyday things that people need for their houses. We keep things like rice, sugar, tea, and other small household items. It is a local place for local people. The building we are in is easy to spot once you get onto the right track. We have a couple of rooms where we keep all the stock. It isn't a supermarket, just a regular store where you can talk to the person behind the counter. Most of the people who come here live just a few minutes away on foot. We know what they like to buy and often have it ready. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the unnamed road being a bit rough, but we manage. We don't spend money on big advertisements or flyers. We just rely on people knowing we are here. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town. We open up in the morning and wait for the regulars to stop by. The Aden Building has been our base for a while and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. It works for us.
