Ever Life Exporters & Hypermart Private

Ever Life Exporters & Hypermart Private is run out of Thannickal House in Thadiyoor. It’s a bit of an interesting setup because we have the hypermart side of things for the local people and then the export side which goes much further away. Thadiyoor is a small place in Ayiroor, and everybody knows Thannickal House, so we don't really need a map to tell people where we are. The mornings are usually the busiest when the fresh stock comes in for the store and we have to get everything on the shelves. At the same time, we are trying to coordinate the shipping for the export side of the business. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes, especially when the internet is acting up and we can't check the emails. We’ve got a handful of local staff who have been with us for years, and they pretty much know how everything runs. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the shop is stocked and the exports are moving out on time. My kids sometimes run around the office when school is out, so it’s a real family environment here. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we like being part of the community here in Pathanamthitta. It’s just how we live and work every day.
