Cherian & Co

Cherian & Co is located right on the Thiruvalla-Kumbazha Highway in Pathanamthitta. We are easy to spot because we are right near the H & C Book Store, which is a big landmark for people in this town. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front door. The rain here in Kerala can be very heavy, so we spend a lot of time making sure our stock stays dry inside. Our building is an older style, typical for this part of the country. We don't have a modern glass front or anything like that. It’s a very practical space where we handle our business affairs and talk to customers who drop in. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because of the bookstore next door. We don't mind. Inside, the shelves are full and the desks are a bit cluttered with folders and pens. We don't use any complicated software to keep track of things; we mostly rely on our notebooks and our memory. The hills around Pathanamthitta are beautiful, and sometimes we take a minute to look at them when the clouds clear. It’s a small operation with just a few people. We don't have big goals of becoming a giant corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and help the folks who come through our doors every day.
