Anku' Curry Powder

Anku' Curry Powder is right on the Main Road, down by China Junction in Konni. It’s a place where there is always a lot of traffic and people passing through. You can usually smell the spices when you get close to our building. We spend our days grinding and mixing various things to make our curry powder. It’s a dusty job and it can make you sneeze if you aren't careful, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. Konni is a nice area to be in, and being at China Junction makes it easy for people to find us. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just focus on making the powder and getting it packed into bags. The Main Road is always busy, so there’s never a dull moment. We have a small team here. Some of us have been doing this for a long time. We know the machines and we know how the spices should look and smell. It’s not something you can learn from a book; you just have to do it every day. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we keep it clean and functional. We just do our work, talk to the locals, and keep the business running. It’s a steady life and we like the community around China Junction. It feels like home to us.
