Our place is out at Muthang, right near the Isnapur X Road. If you know the Patancheru Mandalam area, you know it gets pretty dusty with all the transport moving through Sangareddy district. We’ve been at H No 7-48/1 for a long time. The workshop is mostly full of rolls of wire and the heavy cutters we use. It’s not the quietest spot to spend a day, but we’ve got used to the sound of the metal clinking. We make different types of screens, and usually, the floor is covered in small offcuts that we have to sweep up every evening. It’s hot in the afternoons, especially under the tin roof, but we keep the fans going. A few of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We get a lot of people stopping by asking about specific mesh sizes. We just show them what we have on the racks. It’s a straightforward business. We don't do much advertising; people just find us by the road. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s just the daily routine here at the shop. We keep the inventory stacked high and try to keep things organized, even though it gets messy pretty fast with all the orders we handle for the local factories.
