S R Packtech

S R Packtech operates out of Shed No 7A in Phase 1. This area is mostly industrial, so there are big trucks moving in and out all day long. Our shed is a sturdy building with a high roof that keeps the heat off us a little bit. Inside, it is filled with packing materials, boxes, and some machinery that we use. It can get quite loud when everything is running at once, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We are not a fancy office with air conditioning and carpets. The floor is just plain concrete and there are always scraps of tape or plastic lying around. We try to keep it tidy, but it is hard when you are busy. We have a small table in the corner where we keep our logbooks and a kettle for making tea. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we have a good group that knows the routine. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on getting the orders packed and out the door on time. The atmosphere in Phase 1 is very work-oriented, and we fit right in with that. Sometimes we stay late if a big shipment needs to go out, but usually, we are out by six. It is just a regular, no-nonsense packing operation in a busy industrial zone.
