Shatayu Ayurvedic Clinic & Store

We are over at 1Shanti Nager Socity. Most people know the spot because it is right in the middle of the residential block. It is a simple place, really. We have the clinic on one side and the store where we keep all the herbal bottles and oils on the other. It smells like dried roots and some strong oils most of the day. Some people just stop by to ask questions about a particular leaf or a powder they heard about from their grandmother. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the shelves get a bit cluttered when a new shipment comes in. The waiting area has a few chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. We don’t have any big signs or flashing lights outside. If you are looking for us, just look for the door near the main gate of the society. It gets a bit dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up, so we spend a fair amount of time sweeping. It is just a few of us working here. We handle the consultations and then pack the herbs ourselves. It is a quiet kind of work. We have been in this same spot for a while now and the neighbors know us well. Usually, someone is drinking tea in the back if it is a slow afternoon. We just do what we do and try to stay helpful to whoever walks in.
