Micro Solution

Ajimana is where we set up Micro Solution. It’s a quiet area for the most part. The shop is small and we have shelves full of old monitors and broken keyboards that we keep for parts. We spend a lot of time hunched over motherboards with a magnifying glass. It’s hard on the eyes after a few hours of work. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to fix things. People from the village and nearby areas bring their laptops when they won't turn on anymore. Sometimes it's a quick fix and sometimes it’s a total mess inside. We tell people the truth about whether it’s worth fixing or not. There’s no point in spending money on a machine that’s ten years old and falling apart. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside. We have an old radio that plays local songs while we work. It keeps the mood light during the day. We don’t have a fancy website or social media to show off. If someone needs us, they usually just walk in or give us a call. We eat our lunch at the workbench most days while we wait for things to load. It’s a bit of a cramped space but it works for what we do. We like being in Ajimana. It’s home for us. We just keep our heads down and do the repairs as they come in. It’s simple work and it keeps us busy.
