Kay Bouvet Engineering Ltd.

We are located at N-3 in the Additional MIDC Area, which is a bit of a drive out but it gives us the space we need for the heavy engineering work we do. Kay Bouvet Engineering Ltd has been at this location for quite some time now. When you walk into the yard, you’ll likely hear the sound of welding or the hum of the overhead cranes moving large pieces of metal around. It’s an industrial environment through and through. We don't have a flashy front office with a receptionist; usually, you just find whoever is available to point you in the right direction. Our focus is on the engineering side of things, making sure that the big structures and machines we build are solid and follow the drawings exactly. The air smells a bit like ozone and cut steel, which is just part of the job here. We have a team of engineers and technicians who have spent most of their lives working with their hands. It gets quite loud during the peak hours of the day, so we often have to shout to be heard over the machinery. We don't spend much time on fancy brochures or marketing. Most of our work comes from people who know that we can handle the heavy stuff. At the end of the shift, we’re usually covered in a bit of grease, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually making things in a place like this.
