Junier Engineer In Wapcos

We are located in the Patel Nagar Society in Patan, which is right across from the Janta Hospital. It is a very busy area because of all the people coming in for medical reasons. Our office at number five is a small, quiet space compared to the chaos outside. We work as engineers within the WAPCOS framework, mostly dealing with local projects related to water and power. The office is very plain, with just some desks, chairs, and a few cupboards full of old reports and maps. We spend a lot of time waiting for site visits or coordinating with other departments. Patan is a warm place, and we usually have the fans running full speed all day. The staff is just a small group of us who have been here for a while. We don't have any corporate branding or mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and a few photos of our families. Most of our work is about checking details and making sure the technical side of things is handled properly. We go to the same small shop for tea every morning and afternoon. It is a steady, predictable life here in Gujarat. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to get our work done. We just show up, do what is required, and go home to our families in the evening.
