Hardik Color Hardware

You will find us right in the heart of the Main Bazaar in Sami, which is in the Patan district. Our shop, Hardik Color Hardware, is full of all the things you’d expect to find in a local hardware store. We have rows of paint tins, hammers, shovels, and plenty of nuts and bolts. It’s a bit crowded inside, and you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a bucket. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the farmers and builders who come in from the nearby villages. On market days, the bazaar gets incredibly busy with carts and people everywhere. It’s noisy and dusty, but that’s the way it’s always been. We don’t use any computer systems for our sales; we just remember the prices or look them up in our old books. The heat in Patan can be tough in the summer, so we keep the shop doors open to catch any bit of wind. We spend our days mixing paint and helping people find the right tools for their repairs. It’s honest work and we enjoy talking to the regulars who stop by just to say hello. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around, just a reliable place where you can get what you need for your house or farm without any fuss.
