Gayatri Sales Agency

Our agency is located at number 19 in the Nehru Khadiya Shopping Center. We are right across the street from the Head Post Office, which makes it easy for people to find us. It’s a busy spot with people always coming and going to mail letters or packages. We handle a lot of sales and distribution work from this small office. It’s usually filled with boxes and paperwork. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure our customers get what they ordered. The shopping center has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. We open the shutters every morning and start checking the lists. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the tea man comes around and we take a quick break. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front window. We have a couple of desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets. We try to keep things in order, but when a big shipment comes in, there is hardly any room to move. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with the delivery drivers. We’ve been in this location for a long time and know all the other shop owners nearby. It’s a good community. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. Every day is a little different but mostly it's just about the sales.
