We are located near the Rudramahalaya in Sidhpur, which is a pretty famous spot if you’re from this part of Gujarat. The office is in the Amarnani Hiranand Bachubhai building. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned place, but it has plenty of space for what we do. The heat in North Gujarat can be really something in the summer, so we keep the coolers running pretty much all day long. Dealing with consumer care means the phone rings quite a bit, and there is always someone coming in with a question or a piece of paper that needs looking at. Our desks are usually piled with files and registers because we still like to keep track of things on paper sometimes. It’s a local operation, so everyone knows everyone else’s name. We have a small area in the back where we keep some supplies and where we sit down to have our tiffin at lunch. The building stays relatively cool because of the way it was built, which is a blessing in May. There’s a lot of dust from the road outside, so we end up cleaning the windows and the tables way more often than we’d like. It’s just how it is working in a busy town like this. People stop by on their way to the temple sometimes just to say hello or ask for directions. It is a simple place where we just focus on the day's work.
