Ambika Traders

We sit here in G-184 at Tirupati Market near Siddhpur Char Rasta and things get pretty busy around noon. My father started things out and now I handle the daily bits. We sell different kinds of trade goods, mostly local stuff that people need for their houses or small projects. The market is always loud with people shouting and bikes moving through the narrow lanes. Sometimes the electricity goes off but we just keep the doors open for the breeze. I spend a lot of time checking the ledgers and making sure the stock is okay in the back room. It’s not a fancy place at all. The walls could use some paint, but the shelves are full and that’s what matters to the people who walk in. You can find us right by the crossing if you look for the blue sign that’s a bit faded now. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop where we talk to neighbors and sell things face to face. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of my mornings. Then the afternoon is just waiting for the regular customers to stop by for a chat and a purchase. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’ve been at this address for a long time. Nothing much changes around here except the weather getting hotter in the summers. We just do our work and go home.
