Agrawal Hospital

You can find us over at the Kilachand Center on Station Road. It’s a familiar building for anyone who spends time around this part of town. The area stays pretty packed with people going to and from the station. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever comes in next. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The windows look out over the street, so we see all the commuters rushing by. Sometimes the lift in the center takes its time, so we often just take the stairs to keep things moving. We’ve got a couple of plants in the corner that I try to remember to water, though they look a bit thirsty today. The reception area is small, but it fits enough people if everyone is patient. We don’t use any of those complicated booking systems; it’s mostly just us writing things down in the big ledger. It feels more personal that way, even if it looks a bit old-fashioned. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and we keep saying we’ll fix it next week. It’s just a normal hospital for normal people. We open up early and stay until the last person is taken care of. It's a busy life here on Station Road, but we like being right in the middle of it all.
