Ummeed Hospital Llp

Ummeed Hospital is set up in the Pahlwan Complex, which is right in Ward Number 05. This is in Bagaha 02, over in the Bettiah area of West Champaran. Anish Alam is the person who looks after the place here. The complex itself is quite a landmark around these parts, so finding us isn't too hard for most people. There are a lot of shops nearby, so it’s always a lively part of town with people moving about. The hospital sits inside the complex and it has a steady flow of people coming in from the surrounding villages. Inside, we have our setup arranged in a way that makes use of the space we have. It’s not a huge sprawling place, but it has what is needed for the day. We get a lot of natural light through the front windows in the afternoon. Anish handles a lot of the administrative work from his desk near the entrance. You’ll often hear the sounds of the market outside, but it gets quieter once you step further inside. The floors are white tile and we try to keep them clean despite all the foot traffic. Most days are pretty straightforward, just dealing with whoever comes through the door. It feels like a very local operation, rooted right here in West Champaran. We aren't trying to be something we're not; we’re just here in the complex doing the daily work and keeping the lights on for everyone who visits.
