Solanki Engicon Private Limited is based out of House No 11 in the village of Chhotkipatti, which is in West Champaran. Karunendra Kumar Singh’s son runs the show here. Being in a village, things move at a slightly different pace than in the big cities, and we like it that way. We focus on engineering and construction work for the local area. It’s the kind of place where your reputation is built on what you actually finish, not what you say in a brochure. We don’t have brochures anyway. We just have our tools and our experience from working on sites across the district. The house in Chhotkipatti serves as our home base. Most of our day is spent out on-site, checking the levels and making sure the workers are doing things safely. West Champaran is a big area, and we travel around quite a bit for different jobs. We handle the technical side of building—making sure things are structurally sound and following the local rules. We don't try to be something we’re not. We’re just a small company trying to do good work for our neighbors and local clients. Sometimes the monsoon makes things difficult, and we have to pause everything, but we always get back to it. It’s just a matter of putting in the hours and doing the job right. We’ve been at it for a while and plan to stay for a while longer.
