Manki Construction Private Limited is located in Bettiah. We are based at Ilaram Chowck in Ward No. 17, over in Teli Patty. Shri Raj Kumar is the person whose name is on the lease and who runs things here. It’s a busy little area. We handle construction tasks for people around town and in the nearby blocks. Our setup is pretty simple. We have a space where we keep our files and meet up in the morning to talk about the day’s work. Bettiah is a place with its own way of doing things, and we’ve lived here long enough to understand that. We don't use big words or fancy brochures. If someone needs a building put up or some repairs, they usually just come by the chowck and ask for us. We hire local laborers when we have a big project. The weather can be a bit of a problem during the rains, but we work around it. We spend a lot of time on site making sure things are being done right. It’s a lot of physical work and managing the budget so we don’t run out of materials. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a living for us and a way to help build up the neighborhood. We aren't looking to change the world, just to build some solid structures for the people around here.
