Lakshit Infratech is based out of Bettiah in West Champaran. Our office is actually just House No-191 in Durga Nagar, near Hari Batica. It’s a residential area, so it stays pretty quiet most of the time, which is good for getting work done. We didn't see the point in renting a big commercial space when we could just use this house. It has plenty of room for our equipment and the few staff members who come in every day. Being in Durga Nagar means we are close to the heart of Bettiah but away from the main road traffic. We do a lot of our thinking and mapping here. The neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. We started this company because we saw a lot of work that needed doing in this part of Bihar. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting around the kitchen table or in the front room looking at blueprints. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We handle all the private limited stuff ourselves, from the taxes to the project bidding. It keeps us busy, that's for sure. We like being in West Champaran because this is where our roots are. The house is old but sturdy, much like the way we try to run our business. We just take things one day at a time.
